Is Korean skincare cheaper in Korea?
Prices checked 28 October 2026
We compared 29 popular Korean skincare products at three UK shops and two Korean shops, including delivery. The answer surprised us.
The headline findings
- Delivery changes everything. Korean shelf prices look lower for most products, but for a single item, delivery from Korea often wipes out the saving.
- When Korea was cheaper, the average saving was £2.82. When the UK was cheaper, it saved £2.88 on average.
- It depends on the brand:
- SKIN1004: cheaper from Korea for 10 of 10, cheaper in the UK for 0.
- COSRX: cheaper from Korea for 1 of 8, cheaper in the UK for 7.
- Beauty of Joseon: cheaper from Korea for 3 of 11, cheaper in the UK for 5.
Biggest savings each way
Cheaper from Korea: SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Enrich Cream (save £7.90); SKIN1004 Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule (save £7.25); SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Cream (save £3.55).
Cheaper in the UK: Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water (save £6.79); COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream (jar) (save £5.28); Beauty of Joseon Revive Serum Ginseng + Snail Mucin (save £4.51).
What about a full routine?
We priced a simple four-step routine: COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide, SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream, COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++, all from one shop so you only pay delivery once.
- Cheapest UK shop: £58.25 delivered at Beauty & Seoul.
- Cheapest Korean shop: £56.49 delivered at Jolse.
Bigger orders reach free-delivery thresholds, which is where ordering from Korea can make more sense. Our basket tool works this out for any combination.

How we did it
We checked 29 products, matching the exact product and size, at Beauty & Seoul, Skin Cupid and LIKESKIN in the UK, and Olive Young Global and Jolse shipping from Korea. Korean prices were converted from US dollars at 0.7518 with 20% UK VAT added. Delivery is each shop’s standard charge for a single item when we checked. Out-of-stock listings and estimated prices were left out. Prices change often, so treat this as a snapshot. You’re welcome to quote these findings with a link to this page.
